The Palanpur Female Hospital has been actively engaged in the field of serving the underprivileged women and children residing in and around the Banaskantha District and also in the neighboring district of Rajasthan for more than 97 years. The hospital provides reliable and quality medical treatment to the needy patients at nominal rates. Due to the good services of Palanpur Female & Jee Children Hospitals for several decades, every year, there are around 2670 cases of child birth at this hospital and the Out-patients Department treats 25 to 40 Thousands patients annually.

Apart from this, the Hospital has taken commendable welfare activities in the area and has incurred more than one crore on providing healthcare services to the women and children of the underprivileged community. The hospital is running different types of Government Yojana, like Chiranjivi Yojana & Balsakha Yojana and also Hospital has its own project like Navjat Shishu Swasthya Yojana, Free Vaccination Shemes & Dikari Vathao Yojana, etc.

The Board of Trustees is striving to further expand the services and facility mixed with the hospital to provide advance technology bearing assisted treatment to save more lives.
With this pious and community oriented vision an application has been submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi for registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 to get foreign contributions for further development and expansion of Female Hospital Palanpur.
The donor who donates are exempted from payment of Income Tax under sec-80 (G)

Donation are accepted for following purpose

1. Navjat Shishu Swasthya Yojana
2. Vaccination
3. To help poor, needy and unprivileged section of people
4. Corpus Fund
5. Dikari Vathao Yojana

Navjat Shishu Swasthya Yojana is a health schemes for new born. With a view to benefit infants born in this hospital, the above scheme has been employed from April 2007. In this scheme all the infants born in this hospital are given treatment at half rates from the date of their birth to at age of 6 mohts. Donations are invited for implementation of this Yojana. Those contributing Rs. 2, 50, 000/- towards the scheme are listed as “Yearly Donors” and those giving Rs. 21,000/- are considered as “Monthly Donor” under the schemes.

Free Vaccination Programme include all the children irrespective of any cast, creed or paying capacity are given vaccine at free of cost all around the year. The scheme has been continued constantly from 1st April 2010, in view of its popularity and demand of the needy people. However it depends much on the compassion of donor. Those donors giving Rs. 1, 11, 000/- are treated as “Yearly Vaccine Donor” while those donate Rs. 11, 000/- are treated as “Monthly Vaccine Donor”.

Dikari Vathao Yojana is implemented from 14th February 2014 in Palanpur Female Hospital for the purpose of improve the value of female and prevention of the female baby death from society. Hospital provides certificate and sweet with the honoring the mother for having a female baby in our hospital. Donation is accepted for this Yojana. Those donors giving Rs. 5,000/- are considered as “Monthly Donor” and those donors contribute donation of Rs. 60,000/- is considered as “Yearly Donor”
